Personal profile

Emily Shortland has been a teacher of Religious Studies and Philosophy for fifteen years. She is an experienced mentor and assessor of new and early career teachers and has held various academic and pastoral positions in secondary schools in London and Cambridge.

Her research interests include psychoanalytic thinking for the RE classroom, relational pedagogies, the subjective curriculum and group psychodynamics and theory among adolescent and HE learners.
